Info: Renewable Polymers, Plastics and Biocomposites: Renewable Materials Conference 2021

Program available! The conference will take place as an online event. More than 300 participants registered - 400 expected

Which renewable materials are solutions that meet the needs of future societies? As a response to this challenging question, nova-Institute has decided to unite all relevant industries in the new “Renewable Materials Conference”, May 18–20, 2021, featuring a unique concept to present all renewable material solutions at one event: bio-based, CO2-based and recycled. There is a growing market demand for advanced and ready-to-use renewable material solutions with a low carbon footprint – that are fossil-free.

Highlight of the Year: Unique three days on chemicals, building-blocks, polymers, plastics and composites from biomass, CO2 and recycling. The best sustainable solutions from all renewable carbon feedstocks. The final program is online. Already more than 300 registered participants, 400 expected. 60 confirmed speakers and panellists.

A special focus of the conference is renewable polymers, plastics and biocomposites. In four sessions on the second and third day you will discover the latest developments in CO2- and bio-based polymers and plastics from market leaders such as Avantium (NL), Braskem (BR), Carbiolice (FR), Covestro (DE), FKur (DE), IFF (US) and Lignin Industries (SE). The nova-Institute will present the first peer-reviewed LCA on PEF.
On the third day, experts from the nova-Institute will give a market and trend overview of the entire field of renewable materials.
Particular progress and market establishment can also be found in the field of cellulose fibres and biocomposites. Here too, market leaders such as Amorim (PT), Bcomp (CH), HempFlax (NL), Lenzing (AT) and Stora Enso (SE) will present their latest innovations!

The conference will help shaping the sustainable future of chemicals and materials and will provide new advantages and synergies by establishing a meeting point for numerous cross-sectoral networking opportunities. Participants from the industry will be able to greatly benefit from the first event of this format as it provides a platform for renewable strategies and a broad range of new prospects and materials solutions. It  will be held as an online event, which offers unique networking possibilities to the participants with the help of an innovative conference software from Finland.
