Setting the Frame for Renewable Carbon

Renewable Materials Conference 2025

22 - 24 September (Siegburg, Germany)

The Renewable Materials Conference 2025 is the world's leading event on the Renewable Carbon Economy.

++ Already 204 participants from 19 countries registered, > 500 expected ++ final program ++ exhibition and workshop booking ++

The main objective of the Green Deal is to move from a linear to a circular economy – reducing the fossil material use and cutting down on waste. The concept of sustainable carbon cycles was introduced by the European Commission in 2022 and is becoming increasingly influential for future regulations and legislation. The current Clean Industrial Deal (CID) combines the objectives of the Green Deal with concrete measures to make sustainability a growth driver for European industry and renewable materials. Which policy, sustainability and economic framework is needed to support and guide the transition to renewable carbon? What is the actual impact of defossilisation on sustainability and LCA?
11 presentations and 2 workshops on Policy and Sustainability at the Renewable Materials Conference (RMC), 22–24 September 2025 in Siegburg/Cologne (Germany).

RMC presents solutions and innovations for replacing fossil carbon with biomass, CO₂ utilisation and advanced recycling. RMC covers the entire value chain from alternative carbon feedstocks, the chemical industry, the materials sector, product manufacturers to brand owners, as well as investors and policy makers. Nearly 500 participants from 32 countries attended the last conference in June 2024, 90% of them from industry. This year we expect more than 500 participants, 75 presentations, 20 panel discussions and 12 workshops.

Below you will find the 11 Policy and Sustainability presentations and two workshops (24 September):
