Only 4 weeks left: 12 reasons to attend the “Renewable Materials Conference 2025

22 - 24 September (Siegburg, Germany)

The Renewable Materials Conference 2025 is the world's leading event in the Renewable Carbon Economy.

++ Already 270 participants from 23 countries registered, > 500 expected ++ final program ++ exhibition and workshop booking ++

More than 90% of the carbon embedded in chemicals and plastics is fossil carbon from the ground, which needs to be replaced by alternatives based on biomass, CO₂-capture and recycling. This defossilisation of the chemical industry with renewables is a key element for climate change mitigation. However, defossilisation is not only a necessity but also a playground for innovation and new technologies.

  1. RMC is the largest event for defossilisation, showcasing the latest innovations and technologies from all over the world.
  2. >500 participants are expected, 90% from industry
  3. 75 presentations, 20 panel discussions and 24 exhibitors (some booths still available) will provide a deep insight into the latest bio-, CO2- and recycling-based developments and solutions.
  4. Key strategies and the future of chemicals and materials industry in five highly relevant topic areas: defossilisation of the chemical industry, fine chemicals, fossil-free plastics, setting the frame for renewable carbon and biodegradation
  5. 13 interactive expert workshops on hot topics for the Renewable Carbon Economy: New industrial concept for recycling, business plans for renewables, chemicals from air, biomass availability, biodegradable materials in a circular economy, AI for polymer design and many more
  6. Panel Discussion – The Future of the European Chemical Industry: Defossilised and Competitive, how can it work? (see below for details)
  7. Six innovations competing for the „Renewable Material of the Year 2025“ Innovation Award – the audience has the vote
  8. Networking with leading global brands and pioneers (see below) looking for new renewable solutions for chemicals and materials
  9. Discussions with representatives from the European Commission's DG Grow, DG ENV and further policy makers
  10. Opportunities to make contacts at three evening meeting points and long networking breaks over the day
  11. A simple matchmaking system that makes it easy to reach out to the participants you want to meet in person.
  12. The location is easily to be reached by plane (via Frankfurt Airport), high speed trains and by car (car park next to the event)
