Consumer and Policy Perspective, Certification and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) – Renewable Materials Conference 2024

Renewable Materials Conference 2024, 11 - 13 June, Siegburg near Cologne/Bonn

Final Program ++ Workshops ++ already 115 participants from 18 countries registered - 500-600 participants expected

13 June: The third day of the conference is dedicated to consumers and politics and sustainability. What is the consumer's perception of bio-based products, which certificates are valuable? CovationBio (BE/US), Friesland Campina (NL) and the nova-Institute (DE) will provide new insights.

Braskem (BR), BASF (DE) and the Renewable Carbon Initiative will discuss the future policy framework. DG Environment / European Commission will present the policy perspective on bio-based and CO2-based materials and recycling and will hold a joint workshop with nova experts on LCA methodology for bio-based, CCU and recycling. Finally, four institutes and companies will present their latest LCA work. See the full program below.

"The Renewable Materials Conference (RMC) serves as a vital platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the renewable materials sector," says Michael Carus, CEO nova-Institute, and organiser of the RMC. "Our comprehensive approach covers the entire value chain, from alternative carbon feedstocks, the chemical industry, the materials sector, product manufacturers to brand owners and investors, making the RMC the ultimate platform for networking and partnering in the new renewable carbon economy.“
